Jerome Chan, CPA, CA, CD, has extensive experience in auditing and regulatory compliance, currently serving as a Senior Examiner at CIRO / OCRI since August 2022, where responsibilities include conducting field exams for investment dealer members. Prior to this role, Jerome worked at the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario from May 2019 to August 2022 as a Senior Auditor, performing Value For Money audits and recommending operational improvements across various ministries. Jerome also held positions at PwC Canada from May 2015 to May 2019, where execution of financial audits and leading fieldwork activities were key responsibilities, and served as Team Lead Confirmation Centre, enhancing the efficiency of confirmation processes. Additionally, Jerome has been a Captain (Operations Officer) in the Canadian Armed Forces since June 2003, overseeing medical personnel and providing operational support. Jerome holds a Business Certificate in Accounting and Finance from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences: Neuroscience from the University of Toronto.
