Richard Corner

Richard Corner is currently the Vice President and Chief Policy Advisor, Member Regulation at CIRO / OCRI, a role they have held since 2023. Previously, they served as Vice President and Chief Policy Advisor, Member Regulation at IIROC from 2014 to 2022 and held various positions at the Investment Dealers Association of Canada from 2003 to 2008, ultimately becoming Vice President of Regulatory Policy. Before that, Richard worked at Coopers and Lybrand as a Senior Manager in Audit and at the Toronto Stock Exchange as a Specialist in Capital and Margin Policy. Richard earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Queen's University from 1981 to 1985.
