Steve Montague

Steve Montague is an experienced professional in information technology and project management, currently serving as the Director of IT Governance and Cost Management and the Director of the Project Management Office at the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) since September 2010. Key accomplishments at IIROC include the establishment of project governance frameworks and the standardization of the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), enhancing project success rates. Previously, at Westmont Hospitality Group from September 2001 to August 2010, Steve oversaw global IT infrastructure and project governance for capital investments. At Nortel Networks from April 1996 to March 2001, responsibilities included eBusiness technology selection and the development of a leading eMarketing program. Steve holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, earned between 1978 and 1981.
