Mark W. Burke

Mark W. Burke, Partner at Cirrus ABS, leads our team of highly skilled business analysts, web developers, graphic artists, and writers in the implementation of Cirrus ABS solutions for our varied clients. It’s his responsibility to see that clients are properly helped in using technology effectively to achieve their business goals. Before joining Cirrus ABS, Mark was the head infrastructure architect for Columbia House, the prominent direct-to-consumer distributor of music, movies, and classic TV shows. There, he oversaw the evaluation and implementation of key technologies throughout the enterprise. This included data warehousing, data mining, and other e-business initiatives for the firm, which, at the time, operated the third-largest e-commerce site in the country. Prior to assuming this role, Mark was a highly regarded data architect for Verizon. He employed a wide variety of technologies and methodologies on many of that company’s projects, including the world’s largest implementation of DB2. Mark graduated from Indiana Institute of Technology with a degree in computer science and a minor in mathematics.
