John Gallo

John Gallo is the Senior Vice President of Operations at Cirrus Design Corporation. John has over 25 years of experience in the aerospace and power generation industries.

Gallo began their career in 2000 as Vice President of Operations and Corporate Officer at Piper Aircraft. John was responsible for Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Procurement; Production Control, Quality Assurance and Facilities organizations ensuring that they meet the Company’s goals and objectives. John acquired the responsibilities for the Engineering, Research and Development, Human Resources, Customer Service, and Information Technology during the recession period and the downturn in Aviation (2002-2004). John managed all organizations to meet the Company’s financial, customer service, design, production, quality and regulatory strategic goals and objectives.

In 2005, Gallo became President of Defense Programs at Rolls-Royce. John led all Rolls-Royce's global defense production programs, with responsibility for this multi-billion dollar business' value stream (P&L, customer, cost, quality, delivery, supply chain). This business had 13 production programs in 103 countries and served 160 armed services.

In 2016, Gallo became President- DRT Aerospace at DRT Holdings, Inc. DRT Power Aerospace is a premier manufacturer of a wide variety of precision machined components and assemblies serving the aerospace and power generation industries.

John Gallo has an MBA in Management from Cardinal Stritch University and a BS in Industrial Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. John also has certification from the Federal Aviation Administration as an FAA certified Instrument rated Private Pilot.

John Gallo reports to Zean Nielsen, CEO. John Gallo works with David Moser - VP, Fleet & Special Mission Sales, Curtis Landherr - SVP & General Counsel, and Patrick Waddick - President, Innovation & Operations.
