Daniel Puente Pérez

Daniel Puente Pérez is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as Global CISO at CIRSA since February 2021. Prior to this role, Daniel held the position of CISO and IT Security Manager at Wolters Kluwer España, where leadership of the cybersecurity department resulted in obtaining ISO 27001 certification. Earlier experience includes managing information security at ASPY Prevención, overseeing technical security management at UAB - Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and system administration at cima. Daniel holds multiple degrees, including an Engineering degree in Computer Science from UAB, a Bachelor's in Criminology from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and ongoing specialization in Digital Forensics and Technological Law at Universidad de Extremadura. Additional qualifications include a technology expert certification from ACPJT, a Private Security Director credential from UNED, and a program for executive development from IESE Business School.
