Axel Vornhagen

Axel Vornhagen has extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Axel served as the Managing Director / COO at CiS electronic GmbH starting from September 2018. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director / COO at Sesotec from September 2016 to August 2018. From October 2014 to June 2016, they held the position of Vice President ICOS global at Belden Inc., where they also served as Vice President ICOS EMEA from May 2013 to September 2014. Axel was the Director Operations ICOS EMEA at Belden Inc. from September 2011 to May 2013, and before that, they served as the Plant Manager and Managing Director. Vornhagen worked as the Plant and General Manager at Wagon Automotive Nagold GmbH from January 2007 to December 2008. At Faurecia, they held multiple roles including Plant and General Manager from January 2003 to December 2006, Manager Strategy and Supply Chain from July 2001 to December 2002, Manager Industrial Engineering from January 2000 to June 2001, Teamleader Logistic and Process Engineering from October 1998 to December 1999, and Logistic planning where they worked as a Project Manager for JIT facilities for various companies.

Axel Vornhagen began their education in 1984 at TG Heidelberg, where they pursued their Maturita degree. Axel completed this program in 1987. Following this, they attended Karlsruhe University KIT from 1989 to 1995, where they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
