In the role of Director of Operations Dave Sawyer is responsible for procurement, inventory, production, shipping/receiving and product quality. Dave is a hands-on leader with expertise in production management and operational excellence. He has experience in a wide variety of business environments including ruggedized computer hardware assembly, general fabrication of wood, glass, steel (heavy construction), plastics and sheet metal. Dave uses his diverse manufacturing knowledge to improve production efficiencies, product quality and throughput.
Most recently he served as Operational Excellence Manger at Manitowoc Cranes and prior to that was Operations Manager with Germane Systems. He also held key operational excellence roles at Rubbermaid Commercial Products and as a Six Sigma Black Belt with Viracon (a world leading glass fabricator). Dave holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management and Communication from Concordia University in St. Paul, MN.
