Amber Whitlock

Amber Whitlock currently serves as the Student Programs Manager at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, having held this position since May 2022. Prior to this role, Amber worked as a Senior Human Resources Specialist at the Drug Enforcement Administration from December 2020 to May 2022, and as a Human Resources Specialist at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Inspector General. Experience also includes a position as a Human Resources Specialist at FEMA, where responsibilities encompassed staffing and recruitment, advisory services, and management liaison. Amber is skilled in applying HR concepts, laws, and practices in recruitment and placement, with specific certifications in Delegated Examining. Amber earned a Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness from Virginia Commonwealth University between 2010 and 2014.
