Daniel Stein

Principal Policy And Strategy Advisor

Daniel Stein serves as a Principal Policy and Strategy Advisor at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) since March 2020, focusing on cybersecurity, infrastructure security, and emergency communications policy across various governmental components. In addition to this role, Daniel is the Director of Cyber Workforce at the Office of the National Cyber Director in The White House, leading initiatives for national cyber workforce strategies and coordinating interagency efforts. Previous positions include Branch Chief and Program Director at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where Daniel directed teams in cybersecurity education and workforce development. Daniel's career also includes experience as a Program Analyst with the National Interest Security Company and SRA International. Daniel holds a Master of Science in National Security Strategy from the National War College and multiple degrees in Public Affairs and Middle Eastern Studies.
