Janie Steele

Janie Steele currently serves as the Budget and Resource Management Officer at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency since December 2023. Prior to this role, Janie held various positions at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from August 2016 to December 2023, including Senior Budget Analyst, Program and Project Manager, and Budget Analyst. Janie began a professional career at Ratner Companies, working as a Real Estate Assistant and Lease Administrator from November 2006 to August 2016. Janie holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Paralegal Studies from Northern Virginia Community College, completed between 2011 and 2014, and a high school diploma with a college prep focus from Lapeer East High School, obtained in 1995.
