Michael Aycock has extensive experience in cybersecurity, currently serving on the CISA Cybersecurity Advisory Committee and as Section Chief for the Cyber Safety Review Board at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency since August 2022. Prior to this role, Michael held positions at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as a Senior Duty Officer from December 2019 to September 2022 and at Raytheon as SOC Lead from March 2018 to December 2019. Michael's earlier experience includes a role as Senior Cyber Security Analyst at CSRA Inc from July 2014 to March 2018 and as the Owner of GenZ IT Solutions LLC, providing comprehensive IT services from January 2014 to January 2018. Michael began a career in information assurance as an Information Assurance Technician at Genesis Concepts & Consultants from June 2011 to October 2013. Michael studied at Troy University from 2012 to 2014.
