Michael Duffy is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in federal government roles. Currently serving as the Acting Federal CISO at the Office of Management and Budget since May 2024, Michael previously held key positions at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, including Associate Director and Deputy Associate Director of the Cybersecurity Division. Prior to this, Michael worked at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2008 to August 2019, where responsibilities included Deputy Director of the Federal Network Resilience Division, Branch Chief, and Cybersecurity Program Manager. Michael holds a Master of Public Administration from The George Washington University and completed the Senior Executive Fellows program at Harvard Kennedy School in 2017.
