Tom F. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public safety and national security. Currently serving as Deputy Regional Director at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency since August 2018, Tom has also held significant roles such as Deputy Associate Director of Strategic Relations and Chief of State, Local, Tribal and Territorial Engagement. Prior to this, Tom worked at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from February 2011 to August 2018 as Senior DHS Representative & JCAT Deputy Director and Program Manager, leading efforts to enhance information sharing for domestic counterterrorism. Additional experience includes roles as Program Manager at Lafayette Group, Policy Analyst at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Department of State, Physical Security Specialist, and Assistant Intergovernmental Affairs Manager in the Los Angeles Mayor's Office. Tom holds a Master of Public Administration from USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Tufts University, complemented by executive education at Harvard Kennedy School.
