DJ Sampath is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as the VP of Product for AI at Cisco since July 2023, DJ Sampath previously co-founded and led Armorblox as CEO from July 2017 to July 2023, where the company developed a pioneering natural language understanding platform for cybersecurity. Prior roles include VP of Engineering at StackRox, a Sequoia-backed startup focused on container security, and Senior Research Scientist at Deutsche Telekom Labs, where DJ Sampath worked on scalable middlebox services. DJ Sampath started the career as a Software Engineer at Juniper Networks, contributing to Unified Threat Management solutions, following a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
