Ian Lim

Ian Lim is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as a CXO Advisor at Cisco since November 2024. Previously, Lim held the position of Field Chief Security Officer for JAPAC at Palo Alto Networks from March 2021 to November 2024. With a solid background in information security, Lim served as CISO VP of IT Security and Compliance at Irvine Company for seven years and held the role of Global Information Assurance Officer at Ingram Micro for a short duration. Additional experience includes positions such as VP of Information Security at CoreLogic, Enterprise Security Strategist for EMEA at Symantec, and Information Security Officer at First American. Lim began a career in information technology as a Director of Enterprise Infrastructure at New Century Mortgage and a Senior Consultant at Accenture. Lim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Computer Science and a minor in English Literature from UC Irvine, earned between 1995 and 1999.
