Juan Vela

Juan Vela is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing Strategy at Cisco since June 2023, Juan leads product, solutions, audience, and customer marketing teams for the Cisco Networking portfolio. Previously, as Global Head of Market Strategy at Cisco Meraki since April 2020, and over nine years at Calix in various roles including Area Vice President of Field Marketing and Senior Director of Solutions Marketing, Juan developed key programs that drove significant growth, including the Project Greenfield initiative and Calix's first partner ecosystem program. Earlier career roles at Occam Networks, Allied Telesis, and Rhythms Netconnections further established a strong foundation in marketing strategy, product management, and engineering, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
