Mike Horton

Mike Horton is a passionate cybersecurity expert and innovative thinker with extensive experience in both enterprise and product security across the technology landscape. Currently, as the Device Security Risk & Response Leader at Cisco, they lead the development of a comprehensive product security program, enhancing governance and risk management across network device portfolios. Since 2015, Mike has been the Creator/Maintainer of the IoT Security Initiative, advancing security guidance for IoT solutions. They have also held key roles at AT&T, Johnson Controls, and Cisco Meraki, driving critical cybersecurity initiatives and leading global teams. Mike is pursuing a Chief Information Security Officer Certificate at New York University and has completed several certifications in software product management and digital forensics.
