Wyatt Butler

Wyatt Butler is a legal professional with extensive experience in privacy and data protection. Currently serving as Legal Counsel for Privacy at Cisco since September 2024, Wyatt previously held roles at Splunk as Associate and Assistant Legal Counsel focusing on Data Protection from August 2022 to November 2024. Wyatt's legal career includes time as an Associate Attorney at MERINO YEBRI, LLP and a Senior Production Editor with Hastings Environmental Law Journal. Wyatt also gained valuable experience through judicial externships and legal clerk positions with U.S. District Court, United States Attorneys' Offices, and Ancestry. Prior to a legal career, Wyatt was a Product Manager at Dash Robotics, Inc., where significant coordination and marketing work was accomplished, and worked as a Digital Marketing & Advertising Consultant and Associate Producer at MaxPlay. Wyatt holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley.
