Mohammad Ayat, Ph.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Mohammad began their career in 2005 as a Research and Development Engineer at Baset Pazhouh Novin Co. Mohammad then moved on to work as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Basamd in 2006. In 2008, they joined the American University of Sharjah as a Research Assistant. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Victoria University of Wellington as a Research and Teaching Assistant.

In 2013, Mohammad worked as a PC support contractor at the Electricity Authority. In 2014, they joined Sea Air & Land Communications Ltd as a Senior Embedded Design and Product Development Engineer. Simultaneously, they also worked as an Embedded Engineer at MicroSystems Research Ltd. until the end of the year.

In 2018, Mohammad took up roles at RehabSwift Pty Ltd as a Senior Research and Development Engineer and at ElectroAutoMedics as a Product Development Consultant. Mohammad'smost recent work experience includes working as a Software Engineer and product development consultant at Cision Vision starting in August 2021.

Mohammad obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from Victoria University of Wellington between 2010 and 2014, specializing in electronic and computer systems. Prior to that, they completed their Master's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology from 2004 to 2006. Mohammad began their education journey by earning their Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Sahand University of Technology between 1998 and 2002.
