Chris Albon is currently the Director of Machine Learning and Data Engineering at the Wikimedia Foundation, where they leverage their expertise in data science. They previously served as Director of Data Science at Devoted Health and BRCK, and directed data initiatives at Ushahidi and FrontlineSMS. Chris co-founded Yonder and created the data science podcast Partially Derivative, in addition to authoring the *Machine Learning For Python Cookbook* and developing Machine Learning Flashcards. They earned a Ph.D. in Political Science and an M.A. from the University of California, Davis, and hold a B.A. from the University of Miami, where they triple majored in political science, international studies, and religious studies.
