Andrew Apel has a diverse range of work experience that spans several industries. Andrew began their career as a Financial Planning Intern at Merrill Lynch in 2016. Andrew then worked as a Seasonal Client Associate at Merrill Lynch in 2017 before transitioning to a full-time role as a Client Associate in 2018. In this role, they supported a team that managed over $2 billion in client assets, handling tasks such as account maintenance and transfers.

In 2019, Andrew joined XPO Logistics, Inc. as an Account Executive. Andrew generated leads and developed relationships with clients, closing six new business accounts and maintaining a high gross margin during their tenure.

Later in 2019, Andrew joined Tegus as an Analyst. Andrew connected with industry experts for hedge funds and institutional investors and facilitated research calls between experts and clients. Andrew successfully built relationships with leading experts in over 20 countries.

In 2020, Andrew moved to YCharts as a Senior Sales Representative. Andrew conducted numerous product demonstrations and contributed to over $200k in sales. Andrew was recognized as the IC/DC winner for going above and beyond for their teammates and the organization.

In 2021, Andrew joined DocuSign as an Account Executive, specializing in financial services. Andrew consistently exceeded sales quotas, achieving 130%+ of quota each month and 149% of their annual quota for FY '22. Andrew was also recognized as the top-performing AE in the FINS Org for five consecutive quarters and won multiple sales competitions.

Most recently, Andrew joined Cision as a Senior Account Executive in 2023. Andrew works with PR/Comms Pros to provide comprehensive communications solutions. In their first quarter, they closed over $100k in new business, leading the organization in self-sourced opportunities and revenue.

Throughout their career, Andrew has demonstrated strong sales and relationship-building abilities, consistently exceeding targets and earning recognition for their performance.

Andrew Apel completed their high school education at Buffalo Grove High School from 2010 to 2014, where they studied literature, math, sciences, social sciences, accounting, and economics. Following that, from 2014 to 2018, Andrew attended Illinois Wesleyan University, majoring in finance and financial management services. Andrew holds a bachelor's degree from Illinois Wesleyan University. Additionally, in November 2018, Andrew obtained the Security Industry Essentials Exam certification from FINRA, and in January 2023, they completed the Pitch Perfect - Mastering Customer-Focused Selling certification from Cision.
