Melissa Darrin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent role is as an Enterprise Customer Advocate at Cision, where they started in October 2021. Prior to that, Melissa worked as a Recruiting Partner at Goodwin Recruiting from June 2021 to September 2021. In 2016, they joined MGM National Harbor as a Hotel Operations Manager, where they were responsible for managing a team of 40+ employees and overseeing all aspects of resort operations. During their time at MGM National Harbor, they also served as an Assistant Front Office Manager and Room Reservations Coordinator. Before that, Melissa had roles at KIDS FIRST Swim Schools & Franchise Company as a Front Desk Receptionist and Instructor, and they also worked as a Mentor at the Towson University Freshman Transition Program. Their earliest work experience was as a Teaching Assistant at the North Point Early Childhood Center from May 2010 to June 2012.

Melissa Darrin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science and Mass Communications from Towson University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, they briefly attended the University of London, focusing on Corporate Communications.
