Gary Calnan

Gary Calnan, CFA, currently serves as Chief Executive Officer at CisLunar Industries, focusing on developing industrial capabilities in cislunar space to support sustainable exploration and habitation beyond Earth. Since August 2017, Calnan has been instrumental in creating the Space Foundry, which recycles metal in orbit for in-space manufacturing. Previously, Calnan co-founded Astropreneurs, a platform aimed at facilitating space entrepreneurship. With extensive experience in finance, Calnan held positions such as Director of Finance at IQNavigator, where participation in a merger significantly contributed to financial integration, and served as an Investment Analyst at Dunn Warren Investment Advisor LLC, enhancing investment strategies. Calnan also has a background in financial management at Convergys and founded NightRiders, Inc. Calnan holds a CFA Charter and degrees from multiple prestigious institutions, including a BA in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
