Evan Cohen

Evan Cohen has over 30 years of work experience in maritime finance and management. Evan'smost recent position was as the Managing Director & Group Head of Maritime Finance at CIT Bank since October 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member at DC Maritime Partners BV starting in January 2016. From November 2001 to December 2015, they held the role of Managing Director at DVB Bank SE. Before that, they worked as the Group Finance & Treasury Executive at Acomarit Group / V. Ships from June 1996 to November 2001. Evan also served as the Finance Director at Intermaritime Group from November 1990 to June 1996. Evan began their career as a Manager at Coopers & Lybrand, where they worked from October 1985 to October 1990.

Evan Cohen has a well-rounded education history, with degrees in both business and the social sciences. Evan completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics at The Wharton School from 1979 to 1983, while also earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from the University of Pennsylvania during the same period. After their undergraduate studies, Cohen pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, General from Columbia Business School, completing this degree from 1988 to 1990.
