Maria Ouzounis

Maria Ouzounis is an experienced accounting professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an Accounting Manager at CIT since December 2008, Maria directs a team of three Accountants, overseeing the accuracy and timeliness of financial statement close processes related to all revenue items. Prior to this role, Maria held a similar position at Brazos Capital Management from August 1999 to November 2008, where management of accounting functions for four AIG subsidiaries was key, including preparation of month-end closes. Earlier experience includes working as a Staff Accountant at Phibro Tech, Inc. from March 1997 to June 1999, focusing on vendor invoice approvals and budget preparation. Maria holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Saint Peter's University, earned between 1988 and 1993.
