Marcelo Vessoni

Marcelo Vessoni is the VP of Digital Solutions at CI&T. Marcelo has over fifteen years of experience in the software industry, and has held various positions in software development, teaching, and project management.

Marcelo began their career as a software developer at Liveware, a small software company in Brazil. Marcelo then moved to CI&T Software, where they eventually became the Software Reuse Strategy Manager. In this role, they were responsible for developing and managing the software reuse strategy for the company.

In 2004, Marcelo left CI&T to join IBM. Marcelo first worked as a Delivery Executive, leading the IBM Application Services (AS) Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) Center of Competecy. In this role, they managed a team of 1300+ technical resources providing services to IBM Brazil and USA. Marcelo then became a Professor at IBTA Campinas, teaching courses in software engineering, project management, and business processes. While at IBTA Campinas, they also served as the coordinator of a SOA-based Software Engineering post graduation course.

In 2013, Marcelo left IBM to join CI&T, where they currently serve as the VP of Digital Solutions. In this role, they are responsible for leading the digital transformation of CI&T’s clients through the use of technology.

Marcelo Vessoni has a business analytics degree from The Wharton School and a computer science degree from UFSCar - Alumni.
