Joost Claessens

Joost Claessens is currently a Docent economie at Citadel College since August 2021, while also serving as the Location Chair and Secretary for state examinations at DUO since July 2016. Previous roles include Hoofdexamentrainer at Lyceo from April 2017 to August 2021, and Docent economie during a successful internship at Zwijsen College from August 2018 to July 2019. Joost has experience in the hospitality industry as a Horecamedewerker at Bavaria Brouwerij Café and Hilton Curacao, as well as coaching G-voetbal team at Sparta’25 from May 2018 to May 2020. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Algemene economie from Fontys University of Applied Sciences, and a Master in Communicatiewetenschap from Radboud University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Economie and a second-degree teaching qualification in economie.
