Taylor then worked as a User Services Analyst and later a Research Associate at LSU Health Sciences Center, where they utilized medical technology to train medical professionals and conducted research on neurological conditions.

Simpson then worked as a Systems Administrator at Puryear IT for a short period before joining Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center as an IS Architect in the Cancer Program. In this role, they designed and implemented a customized database and assisted in the integration of various medical systems.

Taylor then moved on to the Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum, where they held several positions, including HIE Technical/System Integration Specialist, Implementation Services Manager, and Technical Architect.
