Erika Rocha

Erika Rocha has extensive experience in the field of health, safety, and environment (HSE) management. Erika currently holds the position of QHSE Director at Citadel Drilling Ltd. and Opla Energy. Prior to this role, they served as the Sr. QHSE Manager at Citadel Drilling Ltd. In 2019, Erika worked as the Environment, Health, and Safety Leader at OHS Manager. Before that, they held several positions at Trinidad Drilling, including HSE Director of the Canadian Division, Canadian HSE Compliance Manager, HSE Manager of Trinidad Design & Manufacturing Division, HSE Team Lead of Trinidad Design & Manufacturing Division, and HSE Coordinator of Trinidad Design & Manufacturing Division. Erika has demonstrated expertise in improving health and safety management systems, conducting safety evaluations, implementing pro-active strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry and legislative safety requirements. Erika has experience in developing HSE programs, managing safety training, conducting safety meetings, and leading HSE committees. Additionally, Erika has produced statistical analysis and reporting for HSE performance and has been involved in obtaining the COR status for their company.

Erika Rocha completed their education in a chronological manner. Erika first obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Advertising from Centro de Estudios Técnicos y Superiores Bauhaus, completing their studies from 1994 to 1998. Later, they pursued further education at the University of Alberta. From 2017 to 2019, they obtained an OHS Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. In 2019, they continued their studies at the same university and completed an Occupational Health and Safety Diploma. Additionally, Erika Rocha obtained a certification in Workplace Wellness Leadership from the University of Alberta in March 2020.
