Mike van der Westhuizen

Mike Van Der Westhuizen, CFA, has over a decade of experience in investment management, currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Citadel Investment Services since April 2011, specializing in Fixed Income and Alternatives. Responsibilities include conducting macro analysis, managing multi-asset portfolios, and implementing trading strategies. Previously, Mike held the position of Investment/Fund Research Analyst, where extensive research on various asset classes was conducted. Prior experience includes serving as an Investment Analyst at Ternary Financial Services, focusing on client reporting, portfolio construction, and investment recommendations. Mike holds a BBusSc in Finance (Honours) from the University of Cape Town and graduated from Wynberg Boys' High School.
