Monique Arendse

Monique Arendse is an experienced finance professional, currently holding the position of Trading Team Leader and Senior Trader at Citadel Investment Services since August 2012, where responsibilities include managing offshore portfolios with an AUM of R6.3 billion across ten stock exchanges. Prior to this role, Monique Arendse worked as a Proprietary Trader for a private firm from May 2010 to August 2012, developing trading strategies and analyzing market trends. Earlier experience includes serving as a Specialised Solutions Dealer at Trilinear from 2008 to 2010, consulting for large corporates on derivative FX products, and as a Foreign Exchange Dealer at RMB from 2005 to 2007, where focus was on market making and risk management in currency trading. Monique Arendse holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from the University of South Africa and is currently pursuing an MBA in Artificial Intelligence at IU International University of Applied Sciences, following completion of the RPE in Financial Markets from SAIFM.
