Dennis Gurzhii

Dennis Gurzhii has a strong background in software engineering and development. Dennis is currently working as an Engineering Team Lead at Citadel Securities since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Microsoft from 2011 to 2023, holding various roles including Principal Software Engineering Manager, Principal Software Development Engineer, and Senior Software Development Engineer.

At Microsoft, Dennis led a team in developing a hardware acceleration solution for Azure networks, achieving a 10x improvement in network connectivity performance. Dennis also worked on the acquisition, processing, and analysis of large-scale real-time data and telemetry for Microsoft Azure's software-defined networking infrastructure. Additionally, they developed video calling capabilities for Windows platforms and implemented a network monitoring solution for Microsoft Office 365 server infrastructure.

Before joining Microsoft, Dennis worked at Ramka Ltd. as a C++ Developer/Architect, where they designed and implemented reusable libraries and frameworks and supported end-user applications. Dennis also had a role as a Senior C++ Developer at IMU, where they worked on a consumer internet security solution. However, they left IMU due to the company's unethical marketing practices.

Early in their career, Dennis worked as an IT Trainer at ITStep Academy and as an Independent Contractor at rentasoft.com. Overall, Dennis Gurzhii has a diverse range of experiences in software engineering and development, with a focus on network optimization, real-time data analysis, and multimedia applications.

Dennis Gurzhii attended Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv from 2002 to 2008, where they obtained a Master's degree in International relations. In April 2012, they also obtained the Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance.
