Erik Rigtorp

Erik Rigtorp has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies in the financial and technology industries. Currently, they are working at Citadel Securities in a role that is yet to be determined. Prior to that, they served as an Advisor at Bitwyre from August 2020 to January 2022. From 2015 to December 2021, they held the position of Partner and CTO at Charlesworth Research, where they built and managed an engineering team and led the development of in-house FPGA capability. In 2014, Erik worked as a Data Science Engineer at Sumo Logic. Before that, they served as the CTO at Pan Capital, where they reduced expenses and developed algorithmic trading strategies. Erik began their career at Buttonwood Group Trading, where they worked on algorithmic trading, currency arbitrage, and developed trading strategies.

Erik Rigtorp completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, starting in 2004 and finishing in 2009. During this time, they also attended Stanford University from 2007 to 2009, studying Electrical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Erik obtained various certifications including an Amateur Radio License General Class from the Federal Communications Commission in September 2017. Erik also completed several online courses, including Statistical Inference from Coursera Verified Certificates in May 2015, Advanced Competitive Strategy from Coursera in September 2014, Competitive Strategy from Coursera in May 2014, and Data Analysis from Coursera in March 2013.
