Kairan Quazi

Kairan Quazi is a seasoned quantitative developer currently employed at Citadel Securities since August 2025, specializing in low latency quantitative research and options market making. Prior to this role, Kairan worked as a software engineer at SpaceX, contributing to the Network Topology Group from July 2023 to July 2025, focusing on data-oriented design for optimization problems in high-performance computing. Kairan also gained significant experience during a 3.5-year internship at Intel Labs, being the first undergraduate to engage with the Human AI Lab, and made notable contributions to predictive speech generation platforms, including keynote presentations at major conferences. Additional experience includes a machine learning internship at BLACKBIRD.AI, where Kairan developed an anomaly detection pipeline for social media content analysis, and part-time tutoring in mathematics and computer science at Las Positas College. Kairan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Santa Clara University and an Associate of Science in Mathematics from Las Positas College.
