Kairan Quazi

Kairan Quazi is a Quantitative Developer at Citadel Securities since August 2025, specializing in low-latency open market making. Previously, Kairan worked as a Software Engineer at SpaceX from July 2023 to July 2025, focusing on data-oriented design for beam planning within the Starlink project, which involved expertise in low-latency and high-performance computing. Kairan gained significant experience during a 3.5-year internship at Intel Labs from June 2019 to June 2023, being the first undergraduate to contribute to the Human AI Lab on open-source predictive speech generation platforms, while also serving as a keynote speaker at notable conferences. Additional roles include a Machine Learning Intern at BLACKBIRD.AI, where Kairan developed an anomaly detection pipeline, and a part-time college tutor at Las Positas College. Kairan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Santa Clara University and an Associate of Science in Mathematics from Las Positas College.
