Pierre Foret

Pierre Foret has worked in various roles and companies over the years. Pierre started their career at Natixis in 2017, where they worked as a Quantitative Credit Strategist on the sell-side until January 2018. Pierre then joined SumUp Analytics in October 2018 as an AI researcher specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) until March 2019. Pierre's next venture was at Google AI, where they served as a Resident from July 2019 to December 2020. Currently, they are employed at Citadel Securities as a Quantitative Research Analyst, starting in December 2020.

Pierre Foret has a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, which they obtained from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from ENSAE Paris, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Before their studies at ENSAE Paris, Pierre attended Lycée Clemenceau from 2013 to 2015, where they pursued a degree in MPSI/MP* specializing in Mathematics, physics, and computer science. In addition to their formal education, Pierre has obtained several certifications including "Julia Scientific Programming" from Coursera in March 2018, "Advanced R Programming" from Coursera in July 2017, "The R Programming Environment" from Coursera in June 2017, and " DEV210.2x: Intermediate C++ " from edX in February 2017.
