Raghava Kumar has a diverse and comprehensive work experience. Raghava started their career in 2014 as an intern at Siemens Technology India, where they gained valuable exposure to the industry. In 2015, Raghava joined Larsen & Toubro as an intern, working with a team of engineers to debug motor drives manufactured by Rockwell Automation. Raghava also served as a Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Cornell University, where they contributed to the development of software and electronics for autonomous robots.
In 2016, Raghava returned to Maidbot as an Electrical Engineering Intern, where they gained experience in circuit board debugging and software development for an early-stage startup. Later, in 2017, they joined Maidbot as a Robotics Software Engineer, designing floor cleaning robots for the hospitality industry. Here, they developed a novel SLAM algorithm using Adaptive Monte-Carlo Localization (AMCL) and implemented it in C++.
Raghava's most recent position was at Citadel Securities, where they worked as a Software Engineer/Tech Lead. In this role, they developed high-performance systematic trading systems for a leading market maker. Raghava was the principal architect and technical lead for a new market access controls library, where they developed optimized C++ template code and deployed it globally to effectively manage risk.
Throughout their career, Raghava has demonstrated strong skills in areas such as software development, robotics, embedded systems, and electronics. Raghava'sexperience spans across various industries, highlighting their adaptability and versatility in different environments.
Raghava Kumar began their education at Rishi Valley School, where they completed their ICSE (Grade 10) from 2007 to 2012. Following that, they attended VASANT VALLEY SCHOOL from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained their CBSE (Grade 12) qualification. Raghava then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University from 2014 to 2017. Currently, they are enrolled in The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they are expected to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 2021 to 2024.
