Adam Benshoff

Adam Benshoff currently serves as the Global Head of Government and Regulatory Policy for Commodities at Citadel, beginning in January 2024. Prior to this role, Adam was the Global Director of Electric Vehicle and Energy Policy at Ford Motor Company from March 2022 to January 2024, focusing on regulatory strategies that enhance vehicle-to-grid integration and electric charging infrastructure. Adam's experience also includes leadership positions at the Edison Electric Institute, where responsibilities encompassed managing regulatory affairs and energy policy development, and serving as Deputy General Counsel, addressing regulatory issues affecting the electric industry. Earlier roles included senior legal counsel at National Grid and an associate position at McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC, providing regulatory counsel on energy matters. Adam holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Speech Communications from Penn State University.
