Alexander Gaden

Alexander Gaden is an experienced data analyst and leader in the financial sector, currently serving as the European Sector Data Analyst Lead at Citadel since July 2020, where leadership of an interdisciplinary team focuses on generating equity research and deriving alpha signals for a long/short strategy. Prior to this, Alexander held roles as a L/S Equity Data Scientist at Citadel, a Quantitative Equity Analyst at Nordea Markets, and an Analytics Consultant at BearingPoint, showcasing expertise in advanced analytics and alternative data applications. Alexander's early career includes a graduate position in Wealth Management at Nordea and co-founding NorseCode, an iOS application for the nightlife industry. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics and a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the same institution, along with brief educational experiences at the National University of Singapore and the University of Oslo.
