Christa Short

Christa Short, CFA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in talent strategy and business development in the investment sector. Since July 2010, Christa has held multiple leadership roles at Citadel, currently serving as Head of Junior Talent Strategy and Business Development, where responsibilities include spearheading junior talent acquisition for the Equity Business and overseeing the Citadel Associates Program. Prior roles at Citadel involved leading talent identification for Citadel Equities and managing the Surveyor Summer Associates Program. Previously, Christa was a Portfolio Manager at Surveyor Capital, managing a $1 billion market-neutral consumer portfolio, and worked as a Senior Analyst at 1798 Global Partners, generating investment ideas for a consumer portfolio. An early career as Managing Director at Hayground Cove Asset Management included generating investment ideas for a substantial long/short fund. Christa holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BBA from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
