Dave Willmer

Dave Willmer is a seasoned professional in the finance and technology sectors, currently serving as a Senior Analyst at Citadel since April 2023. Prior to this role, Dave held various senior positions including Head of Engineering and Head of Quantitative Engineering at BlueCove Limited from September 2018 to March 2023, and Head of Alpha Technology and Director at BlackRock from May 2016 to September 2018. Earlier experience includes a Software Engineer position at J.P. Morgan from June 2010 to June 2015 and roles at Airbus/Xype and Electronic Arts. Dave Willmer obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics with Astrophysics from Nottingham Trent University, completing the latter in 2006 and the former in 2009.
