Romain Guion

Romain Guion is a seasoned commodities analyst currently employed at Citadel since January 2024. Prior to this role, Romain served as VP of Data at Vortexa from January 2019 to December 2023, leading a team of 21 software engineers and data scientists and overseeing the company’s core data product. Romain has held various positions, including Head of Signal Processing & Enrichment and Data Scientist Team Lead at Vortexa, and previously worked as a Senior Data Analyst at Pluto TV and a Freelance Data Scientist at padam.io. Romain's experience also includes consultancy roles at TTP plc, Technip, and Airbus, alongside internships in aerospace simulations and machine learning. Romain holds an MPhil in Energy Technologies Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a Master's in Applied Mathematics from CentraleSupélec.
