Sean Salji

Sean Salji is Head of International Equities, responsible for leading Citadel’s three equities businesses in Europe and APAC.

Sean has spent more than 15 years serving in leadership roles across two of Citadel’s equities businesses – Citadel Global Equities and Surveyor Capital. He joined Citadel in 2005 as part of the Global Equities team and quickly rose to become Portfolio Manager and Head of Global Equities Europe. In 2018, Sean joined Surveyor Capital to lead the business’ expansion in Europe.

Prior to Citadel, Sean served as Assistant Vice President for the research division at Merrill Lynch Europe.

Sean received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
