Tom Booker

Tom Booker currently serves as COO of Portfolio Construction & Risk Engineering at Citadel since November 2023. Prior to this role, Tom was COO of Financial Engineering at BlackRock from February 2013 to October 2023, leading a team focused on analytics technology for the Aladdin Platform. Tom's experience at BlackRock also includes work as a quantitative analyst and portfolio manager, specializing in private markets research and multi-asset portfolios. Earlier in Tom's career, positions included casual teaching staff at Macquarie University's Department of Mathematics and convener of the Australian Category Seminar at the Centre of Australian Category Theory. Tom holds a Ph.D. in Pure Mathematics with a focus on Category Theory and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Mathematics and Physics, both from Macquarie University.
