Vineet Birman

Vineet Birman is currently the Head of Treasury Quantitative Research at Citadel and serves as a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. They earned a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where they received the award for best PhD thesis. Vineet began their career in 2007 at RBS as a Quantitative Analyst, focusing on equity derivative pricing and risk management. They later worked at BlueCrest Capital Management on volatility-based trading strategies and at Morgan Stanley in model validation and quant roles. Currently, Vineet's work involves liquidity and capital modeling, as well as developing automated market making and trading strategies.
