Ziwei Wang is a Senior Quantitative Researcher at Citadel, specializing in global quantitative strategies since July 2020. Previously, Ziwei served as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University from September 2015 to June 2020, focusing on computational and theoretical soft condensed matter, which included multi-scale modeling and algorithm developments. In addition to this role, Ziwei interned at Akuna Capital in the summer of 2019, where the emphasis was on simulation and modeling of volatility events in option trading. Prior experience also includes a research assistantship at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where the work centered on experimental soft condensed matter. Ziwei holds a PhD in Applied Physics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
