Grace Curtis-Holsgrove has a diverse work experience. Grace started their career at Shell Global Solutions as an intern, where they designed and conducted experiments related to gas well deliquification. Grace also interned at Sheffield Forgemasters Plc and Brocklesby Ltd. Grace then joined Loughborough University, where they served as an undergraduate safety committee member and a bursary student. After that, they worked at Shell as a process engineer, handling multiple projects and participating in the graduate program. Grace later became a business advisor and process engineer for flow assurance in non-operated ventures. Their role involved handling multiple projects, experimental work, and data interpretation. Currently, Grace is the Chief Design Engineer at Citec Group, where they manage and contributes to various projects in the oil and gas, hydrogen, and LNG industries. Grace also coaches colleagues in technical and professional development and supports the Energy Transition team with competency development.

Grace Curtis-Holsgrove began their education at Benenden School in 2004 and completed their studies there in 2010. Grace then went on to attend Loughborough University from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Masters in Chemistry (MChem). During their time at Loughborough University, they also pursued a Diploma in Industry, specializing in Chemistry, from 2012 to 2013.

In January 2016, Grace Curtis-Holsgrove obtained a certification from the Royal Society of Chemistry, earning the designation of AMRSC. Grace also holds a certification as MChem from Loughborough University, although the specific details regarding its acquisition are not provided.
