Owen Nelson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and contract management, currently serving as a Senior Contracts Specialist at CITIC Pacific Mining since September 2023. Prior to this role, Owen held various senior positions at A.P. Moller - Maersk from January 2008 to August 2023, including Senior Category Manager for Logistics and Services, Head of Inland Procurement and Contract Management for Northwest Europe and Scandinavia, as well as Senior Procurement Manager for Asia Pacific. Owen began a career in logistics and supply chain management at Gilmours as a Delivery Driver in late 2005. Owen earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Operations & Supply Chain Management with Marketing from the University of Auckland, completing studies between 2005 and 2007.
