Andre Canty

Andre Canty is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in national initiatives and development communications. Currently serving as Senior Associate of National Initiatives at Cities United since February 2020, Andre has built a strong background in community engagement and strategic development. Prior roles include working at Highlander Research and Education Center from November 2012 to February 2020, where responsibilities focused on development and communications, and serving as Assistant to the Director at Beck Cultural Exchange Center from June 2009 to November 2012. Andre holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where studies took place from 2008 to 2009, and a prior education at Middle Tennessee State University from 2003 to 2008.
