Amar Malik is currently the Head of the EMEA Algorithmic Trading Desk at Citi. They previously worked as an Equity Sales Trader in Electronic Trading at Virtu Financial from 2017 to 2020 and held a similar role at KCG Holdings, Inc. from 2011 to 2017. Amar also gained experience in algorithmic trading at ITG from 2008 to 2011. They are presently pursuing a BSc in Mathematics at UCL.
